ThermaPAK's patented HeatShift Technology uses a very simple physical concept to cool. On contact, the natural crystals inside our cooling pads draw heat away from the bottom of your laptop and into the pad. As the crystals warm up they begin to turn into a gel and then liquefy, wicking away the heat from the laptop into the pad. This process insulates you and your work surface from harmful heat. When the pad cools or the laptop is not in use, the liquid returns to solid crystals and the pad is ready
